Reviews for The Last Mad Surge of Youth (CD/Download)

Here’s something to hopefully warm your hearts and perhaps deliver an annoying little earworm for the rest of the day!
Our friend Helen Stephens runs “Little Sandbox”, a once-a-week after-school “tech” club in deepest Bootle, for kids (in the song they call themselves “nerds and geeks”) aged 8 upwards.
Les Glover & I popped down the other week, and within an hour had written this cheeky little ditty with the kids.
It’s a campaign song to hopefully rally people into voting for “Little Sandbox “ in the upcoming People’s Project, the prize being lottery funding to a worthwhile cause.
If you like the vid/song, please consider voting using this link (you can vote from anywhere in the UK):

Had these photos "messaged" to me on FB the other day...never seen them before: it's Yachts making our 1st album in the studio inside New York's "Radio City Music Hall" building, Christmas 1978.
The colour pic is of me (aged 23) in control room with engineer (Rob?) and the producer Richard Gottehrer, the man who wrote "Hang On Sloopy" and "My Boyfriend's Back" (and had produced Blondie's first album).
They had this amazing theatre organ downstairs which we used on the track Mantovani's Hits (hear it here:

[Thanks to Kristan James Melik for the photos]
